Wellcome’s director calls for increased investment and collaboration with the European Union after Brexit
The director of the Wellcome Trust, Jeremy Farrar, has urged political party leaders to put science at the heart of their vision with an “ambitious firm plan” for R&D investment and continued collaboration with the European Union.
In a letter addressed to party leaders one month ahead of the general election on 12 December, Jeremy Farrar urged them to reflect the importance of science in their manifestos.
