Cancer Research UK sets out priorities for 2020

Charity’s board members promise new strategy and another round of £20m grand challenges funding

Cancer Research UK has set out its plans for the year ahead, which include developing a new strategy, conducting breakthrough trials and launching the next round of an “ambitious” research initiative.

The plans were published on 17 January in a statement by some of its executive board members on what they are most looking forward to in 2020. The charity’s chief executive, Michelle Mitchell, said the new strategy would be a “key focus”.
