Royal Society of Edinburgh awards medals to five researchers at Scottish universities

The Royal Society of Edinburgh has awarded medals to five researchers at Scottish universities in recognition of their contribution to their field of study.

Two of the medals, the Lord Kelvin and Sir Walter Scot medals, are for lifelong dedication, and another two, the Dr Patrick Neill and Sir Thomas Makdougall Brisbane medals, are for early career researchers.
