Academic and business leaders set out advice on next steps for R&D
An influential taskforce of university and business leaders has asked the government to put R&D first in a revised industrial strategy to help the UK recover from Covid-19.
Vice-chancellors and business leaders called on the government to “refresh” its industrial strategy in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and focus on research and innovation to “create a more resilient, competitive and productive economy”, in a report published by the National Centre for Universities and Business (NCUB) on 13 November.
