Royal Society of Chemistry proposes post-pandemic research strategy to ensure ‘maximum benefit for society’

The Royal Society of Chemistry has set out a plan to boost the use of new and emerging technologies as part of a post-coronavirus national research strategy.

According to a report published by the learned society on 6 July, recent advances in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, data analysis, modelling and simulation have allowed scientists to speed up discoveries, with many of these techniques also used to accelerate research into coronavirus treatments.
