Cheryl Moore will lead the health charity’s programme of scientific discovery research
The Wellcome Trust health charity has appointed Cheryl Moore—president and chief operating officer of the New York Genome Center—as its new director of research programmes.
Moore will take up the post in May to lead Wellcome’s programme of scientific discovery research, as well as research on mental health, infectious diseases, and the health effects of global heating, the charity announced on 6 January.
