The UK should set the “gold standard” for professional and ethical artificial intelligence as a key part of its upcoming AI strategy, in a bid to regain public trust in the technology, IT professionals have said.

In a new report—Priorities for the National AI Strategy—BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, finds a “wide variation in the competency and ethical practice of organisations that develop and use AI”.
