Announcement comes as organisation places greater emphasis on innovation to tackle real-world problems

The UK’s national institute for data science and artificial intelligence has appointed a new director of innovation, amid plans to place a greater emphasis on innovation to tackle real-world problems.

Simon Reeve joins the Alan Turing Institute from engineering research funding charity Lloyd’s Register Foundation, where he most recently served as director of commercial engagement.
