Royal Society launches new fellowships for Black researchers

           

Science academy’s Career Development Fellowship pilot aims to support researchers from underrepresented groups

The Royal Society is launching a pilot to provide funding for underrepresented researchers, starting with those from Black heritage backgrounds.

Career Development Fellowships will award up to £690,000 over four years to carry out “curiosity-led” research at a UK university or not-for-profit research institution.
