UK flops in league of most innovative firms

Just one UK company features in the Thomson Reuters Top 100 Innnovators, a list which measures firms’ ability to create patents.

Unilever, a Dutch-Anglo company, is the only UK-based firm to appear on the list, published on 15 November. Other companies such as Rolls Royce, BAE Systems, ARM and Dyson are notable for their absence.
