The University of Bath has embarked on a two-year knowledge transfer partnership with Imaginarium Studios, a performance capture company.
The partnership will develop algorithms for creating animations of animals based on the movements of a human actor.
Imaginarium Studios was founded by the film producer Jonathan Cavendish and the actor Andy Serkis, known for the role of Gollum in Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings films.
