UCL taps Imperial Innovations for commercialisation fund

Imperial Innovations and the European Investment Fund are jointly backing a University College London fund to commercialise UCL's research.

So far nearly £50 million has been raised for the UCL Technology Fund, which will invest in emerging research over the next five years. The fund has been backed by £24.75 million each from Imperial Innovations and the European Investment Fund.

The UCL fund will be managed by the UK-based venture capital firm, Albion Ventures, in partnership with UCL’s technology transfer company UCL Business.
