Views sought on UK infrastructure

The Institution of Civil Engineers is to assess the UK’s future infrastructure needs and how they can be met.

The institution’s National Needs Assessment project will seek to predict and assess the future needs of the UK’s energy, transport, communications, water, waste and flooding infrastructure up to 2050.

The project aims to influence the work of the government’s advisory body the National Infrastructure Commission, which is preparing a National Infrastructure Assessment.
