London has been named the best city in Europe for digital entrepreneurs for a second year in a row, according to the European Digital City Index, launched in 2015 by the UK's innovation agency Nesta and the European Digital Forum.
Six UK cities are in the European Digital City Index top 20: London, Cambridge, Bristol, Oxford, Manchester and Edinburgh.
The index, which ranks 60 European cities, accounted for 40 separate measures that span 10 core themes, including access to finance, entrepreneurial culture and talent supply, with varying weightings for start up and scale up businesses, Nesta said.
