Science minister Jo Johnson has announced the creation of a £5-million competition to encourage companies and academics to develop robotic innovations.
The competition was set up by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and Innovate UK, following the EPSRC’s robotics week.
In a statement on 5 July, Johnson was quoted as saying that the fund would help the UK to build expertise in robotics and autonomous systems across industries.
