Joanne Hackett, professor of regenerative medicine at the University of Cambridge, will lead Genomics England’s industry engagement strategy.
Hackett, who has also worked as chief commercial officer of the precision medicine catapult, will join Genomics England on 18 April, according to a statement published on 6 April.
She will be responsible for creating opportunities for collaboration both nationally and internationally.
