£8m for collaborative R&D on propulsion technologies

Innovate call is part of annual £150m to support ‘game-changing innovations’ in aerospace sector

Collaborative R&D projects are being encouraged to bid for a share in a new £8 million fund for “innovative ideas for design and propulsion technologies” to help the UK aerospace industry, the government announced on 14 November.

The £8m set aside is part of a £150m a year available to “support game-changing innovations in aerospace design, manufacture and propulsion” according to Innovate UK.
