The agency confirms £7.35m in funding to support launches

The UK Space Agency is injecting millions into a plan to launch small satellites into space from Newquay in Cornwall using a modified Boeing 747.

UKSA is giving £7.35 million to Virgin Orbit UK to help the company develop its scheme for the “horizontal launch” of small satellites using the commercial jet.
