A series of contracts is to be awarded to businesses in Northern Ireland to fund research into pain, criminal investigations and animal welfare.
The programmes, announced on 2 August, form part of Innovate UK’s Small Business Research Initiative.
One will provide £50,000 to three organisations researching the digital platform to support people living with pain.
