Partnership to digitise one million pages of science

Free-to-access archive is reaction to concerns over high cost of digitising analogue materials

The UK’s higher education IT agency Jisc and the publishing house Wiley have announced plans to create a free-to-access, one-million-page digital archive of science papers.

Announced on 30 September, the initiative is a response to concerns over the high costs of digitising such material. It follows similar digitisation projects led by Jisc.
