The UK government must take “decisive action” to bolster the UK’s life-sciences sector or risk falling behind other countries, business leaders have said.

In a new report, Let’s Get Clinical, the Confederation of British Industry warns the government not to “be complacent” about the UK’s position as a leading life sciences destination in the face of “stiff competition” from centres of excellence such as Singapore and Switzerland.
