Queen’s University Belfast pro vice-chancellor says city has ‘much to offer’ UK Arpa
Belfast has “much to offer” in its bid to host a science funding agency modelled on the US Advanced Research Projects Agency, the pro vice-chancellor for research and enterprise at Queen’s University Belfast has said.
Emma Flynn’s comments come after prime minister Boris Johnson announced plans to create the agency for high-risk, high-reward research this summer. The location has yet to be announced.
