Coventry University announces 5G partnership with Vodafone

The university is also launching a Fatigue and Structural Integrity Innovation Centre with TWI

Coventry University has announced a partnership with the telecommunications company Vodafone to house what it says is the UK’s first standalone 5G network.

The network will be installed in the Alison Gingell building on the university’s Coventry city centre campus and will support virtual reality learning technologies to train student nurses and health professionals in the university’s school of health and life sciences.
