Almost £1.6 billion invested between March and May 2021 in best quarter on record
Despite the pandemic’s hit to global economies, the UK’s biotech and life sciences sector received a record £1.56 billion of investment between March and May 2021.
This is highest amount recorded for a single quarter since the data was first recorded, according to the trade body the BioIndustry Association (BIA) and the analytics company Clarivate.
