NIHR invests £12m in AI projects on multiple health conditions

   

Funding awarded to three collaborations and research support facility in first wave of £23m call

The National Institute for Health Research has awarded almost £12 million to projects that will use artificial intelligence to try to identify, prevent and treat multiple long-term health conditions.

The funding was awarded through the first wave of the £23m Artificial Intelligence for Multiple Long-term Conditions (AIM) call in collaboration with NHSX NHS AI Lab.
