Decision to close down UK technology advice and voucher scheme criticised by small businesses
A small-business lobby group has criticised the UK government for scrapping a digital productivity scheme at Christmas time, calling it “a Scrooge move”.
The Help to Grow Digital scheme, which launched earlier this year in January, is to be scrapped on 2 February 2023 following a decision by the government’s business department on 15 December.
