NIHR unveils £100m service to help health researchers

Five-year funding will put statisticians, economists and more on tap via Research Support Service

Nearly £100 million will be spent over the next five years to help health researchers in England, the National Institute for Health and Care Research has announced.

The NIHR said the money would enable researchers to access advice and expertise in confidence and without charge via a new Research Support Service (RSS). Statisticians, qualitative researchers and health economists will be on hand to give guidance and advice on topics including clinical trial development and delivery for work, from pre-application to post-award.
