Upcoming Cancer Research UK report set to detail “significant potential” for such taskforce
The widely praised UK government Vaccine Taskforce should be replicated for cancer, the director of policy at a leading research charity has said.
Hailed as a big success for the speed at which it achieved its aims, the taskforce was set up during the Covid-19 pandemic to coordinate government, industry, academia and funding agencies on research efforts to develop and deploy vaccines.
