Most foreign investors plan to increase UK R&D spending, survey finds, but tech sector struggling
Foreign-backed research and development projects in the UK grew by 14 per cent in 2022 compared with the previous year, according to analysis by accounting firm EY.
Despite this, there were fewer foreign investments in UK-based projects overall, with a drop in digital technology a “key factor”, the firm found.
