Recommendations from medicines makers include £200 million fund over four years for collaborative R&D grants

The government must ramp up its efforts in medicines manufacturing if the UK is to become a global life sciences superpower, according to a report that says more support could unlock £15 billion over 10 years.

According to the report from the Medicines Manufacturing Industry Partnership, the manufacture of medicines has traditionally been a strength for the UK, especially in the advanced therapy medicinal products sector.
