Heriot-Watt University and University of Glasgow to lead the research
Researchers are planning to use digital replicas of the physical world in a bid to decarbonise the UK’s transport system as quickly and cheaply as possible.
Heriot-Watt University and the University of Glasgow will lead the development of a research hub that will use ‘digital twins’ to collect data from sensors in places like roads and railways in real time, umbrella funder UK Research and Innovation announced today.
