Research libraries launch open access

Research Libraries UK has announced that all of its members have agreed to provide open access to their physical and online collections.

Academic staff and researchers from RLUK member institutions will be able to access all RLUK members’ libraries and print collections, RLUK said on 25 November.

The agreement is an extension to the SCONUL Access Scheme, which allows university library users to use books and journals at other libraries.
