Vice-chancellors’ group Universities UK has set up a high-level strategy group to help govern negotiations with major publishers as the industry makes the transition to open access.
The group will support higher education IT agency Jisc in its mission to secure “sustainable, affordable and innovative” agreements with major publishers, the agency announced on 25 November.
