Publisher abandoned previous plan to go public in 2018
Springer Nature, one of the world’s largest academic publishing companies, is planning a stock market listing two years after abandoning a previous attempt, Reuters has reported.
The news agency said on 16 January that “people close to the matter” confirmed owners BC Partners and Holtzbrinck are working with a consortium of banks on the plan, and that Springer Nature might be valued at as much as €8 billion.
