Scheme aims for diversity in open-access marketplace by linking not-for-profit publishers with academic libraries
The higher education IT firm Jisc has opened submissions to a scheme linking open-access book publishers that charge no fees to academic libraries.
Submissions have opened for non-profit diamond open-access book publishers—which collect library funding to operate under a free-to-read and free-to-publish model—to the scheme which aims to support diversity in business models and to reduce the burden of book-processing charges.
