Taylor & Francis to make 26 books on “critical topics” open access, prompting costs transparency call

Publisher Taylor & Francis has said it will make 26 of its books on “critical topics” open access, backed by funding from 24 universities.

Taylor & Francis, a division of the UK-based publisher Informa, said the books are to be published at the end of the first year of its collaborative funding pilot, Pledge to Open.
