Chief scientific advisers to give evidence

The House of Lords Science and Technology Committee will hold an oral evidence session on the role of chief scientific advisers on 25 October.

The committee will hear from three CSAs—Chris Whitty, from the Department for International Development; Bernard Silverman, Home Office; David MacKay, Department for Energy and Climate Change; plus Roger Kain, a vice-president of the British Academy, and John Pethica, vice-president of The Royal Society.
