The House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee will hold an oral evidence session on science in the Met Office on 26 October.
It has summoned Paul Hardaker, chief executive of the Royal Meteorological Society; Ed Hill, director of the National Oceanography Centre; and Alan Thorpe, director general of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts.
