Scotland offer seeds local renewable energy

Scotland’s energy minister, Fergus Ewing, is offering nearly £4 million in loans for renewable energy projects owned and run by local communities.

The loans are available through the Community and Renewable Energy Scheme and will help with the pre-planning costs of 42 small-scale renewable energy schemes.
