Sci Tech committee to look at energy risks and head counts

Two new investigations have been announced by the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee, looking at the risks from nuclear power generation and at the impact on social science research of ending the decennial national census.

The first inquiry is a response to the concerns raised by the Fukushima nuclear accident in Japan and the subsequent decision of the German government to scrap its nuclear energy plans.
