Greenfield warns Lords on technologies and the mind

Susan Greenfield, a crossbencher in the House of Lords and former director of the Royal Institution, led a debate in the House of Lords on 5 December about the impact of digital technologies on the human mind.

Greenfield focussed on the question of what would happen to the mind if the external world “changes in unprecedented ways, for example with an all-pervasive digital technology.
