The House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee will hold an oral evidence session on the impact on social science research of ending the decennial national census.
The session, to be held on 14 December, will hear from witnesses including Tim Allen from the Local Government Association; David Martin from the Royal Statistical Society; Phil Rees from the Royal Geographical Society; Glen Watson, census director at the Office for National Statistics; and Adrian Alsop, director of research and international strategy at the Economic and Social Research Council.
