MPs launch inquiry into alcohol guidelines evidence

The House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee has launched an inquiry into the government’s guidelines for alcohol intake.

The guidelines include a recommendation that men should not drink more than 3-4 units of alcohol per day, while women should not exceed 2-3.
