S&T committee to look again at engineering

The House of Commons Science and Technology Committee is planning a follow -up to its 2009 study on the government’s role in supporting engineering.

The earlier report, “Engineering: Turning ideas into reality”, looked at four case studies: nuclear engineering, plastic electronics engineering, geoengineering and engineering in government. The last focussed on the government’s use of engineering advice and expertise in formulating policy.
