The House of Commons Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee is to take further evidence as part of its inquiry into the government’s white paper on the natural environment, published on 7 June.
At a session on 18 January it will ask green groups, farmers and landowners how far the paper goes into protecting the environment.
