MPs to probe Defra’s tree disease strategy

The House of Commons Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee has announced an inquiry into the government’s approach for detecting and managing threats to tree and plant health.

The inquiry was announced on 20 November, as the ash dieback disease Chalara fraxinea threatens the UK’s ash trees.
