The House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee has called on the government to launch a “prolonged” campaign to boost public awareness of cyber security.
The report, “Malware and cyber crime”, was published on 2 February. It says the government’s recent Cyber Security Strategy, published on 25 November 2011, was focussed on too high a level security.
