MPs call for ‘strong vision’ on marine renewables

The government needs to boost support and develop a “strong political vision” for wave and tidal power, a report has said.

The Energy and Climate Change Committee published its report, ‘The Future of Marine Renewables in the UK’, on 20 February. It warns that the UK lost its leading position on wind power to Denmark in the 1980s and should not make the same mistake again.
