GMC chair and chief executive to go before parliamentary health committee

Former BBC journalist Niall Dickson, chief executive of the General Medical Council, is to give evidence to the House of Commons health committee as part of its investigation into regulatory bodies.

In addition, the 4 September hearing will also hear from GMC chairman Peter Rubin, Una Lane, the GMC’s director of continued practice and revalidation, and from David Pearl, chairman of the medical practitioners tribunal service.
