HRA seeks views on public register of research projects

The Health Research Authority has issued a call for evidence on its proposed UK-wide policy framework for research into health and social care.

In an announcement on 18 December, the HRA and the devolved administrations said that the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research will set out principles of good practice in the management and conduct of health and social care research. It will replace the four separate research governance frameworks issued by each UK health department.

In a document published alongside the announcement, the health research watchdog lists the principles affecting researchers that its consultation will look into.
